InTENSity Elec 2x2 80EA/CV/640CT Q&A

Question 1

What is InTENSity electrodes? View answer

Question 2

What are the electrodes best used for?

Answer:

The electrodes are ideal for TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation), EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation), NMES (Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation), IF (Interferential Therapy), and other electro-stim applications. These functions provide pain relief, muscle stimulation, and therapeutic benefits, making the electrodes versatile for different therapy needs.

Question 3

What is the purpose of the InTENSity Hydro-Gel?

Answer:

The InTENSity Hydro-Gel is used to provide an effective adhesive and conductive interface between the electrode and the skin. This gel enhances the electrode's performance by ensuring consistent contact and conductivity, thus improving the overall effectiveness of electrotherapy sessions.

Question 4

How should the electrodes be stored?

Answer:

Electrodes should be stored in their original tamper-proof foil pouch and kept in a cool, dry place to maintain their adhesive quality and conductivity. Proper storage prolongs the lifespan and effectiveness of the electrodes, ensuring they are ready for use when needed.

Question 5

What devices are compatible with these electrodes?

Answer:

These electrodes are compatible with the Richmar TENS 7000 Portable Electrotherapy Device. Compatibility with such a widely used device ensures that users can easily integrate these electrodes into their existing therapy routines.

Question 6

How many electrodes are sealed in each pouch?

Answer:

There are 4 electrodes sealed in each tamper-proof pouch, ensuring they remain clean and adhesive until use. This packaging maintains the electrodes' quality and prolongs their usability by preventing contamination.

Question 7

When should the electrodes be replaced?

Answer:

Electrodes should be replaced once the adhesive gel no longer firmly adheres to the skin. Regular replacement ensures that the electrodes maintain their effectiveness, providing consistent therapy benefits over time.

Question 8

How many electrodes are included in one pack?

Answer:

Each pack contains 10 electrodes, providing ample supply for regular therapy sessions. Having multiple electrodes ensures you always have replacements ready, which is particularly useful for those who require frequent treatments.

Question 9

What type of connector do the electrodes use?

Answer:

The electrodes feature a 2mm-diameter female pigtail lead wire connector. This industry-standard connector ensures compatibility with most portable and clinical electrotherapy devices, offering flexibility and convenience for users.

Question 10

What is the material used in the electrodes?

Answer:

The electrodes are made with a white cloth backing and a carbon layer. The carbon layer ensures high conductivity for efficient current delivery, while the cloth backing offers comfort and durability, making the product both effective and long-lasting.

Question 11

What color are the electrodes?

Answer:

The electrodes feature a white cloth backing, which is not only aesthetically neutral but also durable and comfortable against the skin. This color choice minimizes visual distraction during therapy sessions.
